Amman, Mar. 6 (Petra)-- Temperatures are expected to rise slightly across the Kingdom on Friday, bringing mild weather to most regions, while conditions will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

High-altitude clouds are also expected to appear, according to the Meteorological Department. Winds will be moderate southeasterly, shifting to northwesterly in the afternoon and becoming occasionally active in desert areas.

The weather forecast indicates that temperatures will drop slightly on Saturday. Conditions will be cold in the mountainous regions and relatively cold across the Badia and plains, while remaining relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at various altitudes, with a chance of light rain showers in limited parts of the northern, central, and eastern regions of the Kingdom. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally picking up speed.

A slight drop in temperatures is also expected on Sunday, with cold weather prevailing in most areas and mild conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low-altitude clouds will appear, and northwesterly winds will be moderate, becoming active at times.

On Monday, the weather will remain cold in the mountainous regions and relatively cold in the Badia and plains, while remaining relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low-altitude clouds will persist, with moderate northwesterly winds continuing across the Kingdom.

Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 16 degrees Celsius, and a low of 5 degrees.

Highs in the port city of Aqaba will reach 26 degrees, sliding to 11 degrees at night.
